Malachite Creative Media is an award-winning independent film production company and we are passionate about the storied journey that life can be. We work with impact-oriented brands, creatives and agencies to create world-class film & video content for events, web and social. Our goal is to encourage you to live truthfully in the moment as we help tell your story through the lenses of authenticity, collaboration, and enterprise.
We were founded on the principles of self-determination, collective work and responsibility, and cooperative economics. "Straight Outta Kwanzaa", we believe these principles are for all peoples, and we take them with us as we serve our community and doing so is how we choose to honor the late Carol A. Hall, grandmother to the company's founder, who passed away from dementia shortly before this company launched. It is the purpose of Malachite Creative Media to take up the mantle upon which the kinara now rests.
We have a desire to make movies every day and we consider ourselves fortunate to be able to curate film and video content with brands, creatives, and people like you and we are working towards shaping a community that is self-sustained, where we want for nothing because we got it all, already. Our philosophy is "There is only us!" We all have something unique to contribute and if we all pitch in, we all win.
